Schedule: May 10th, 2010 through August 16th, 2010 The 2010 Street Program is currently underway. See the street by street description of work below for more details.
 
Desciption: The Street Program consists of work in several areas of the city. The general goal of the program is maintenance of existing roadways. This year the city will be improving the following areas:

Old Creek Lane between Dietz Rd. and Gender Rd.:
Work consists of milling and resurfacing the asphalt pavement. Some spot curb repair work where necessary.

Traffic Impact:     Old Creek Lane - June 7th through June 18th
Local traffic will be maintained. There will be short delays during some of the operations. Access to residential drives will be maintained whenever possible. If an interruption to drive access is necessary, the contractor will notify the resident and coordinate the interruption.
East Hocking St. between High St. and the Fairfield Co. line.:
Replace the existing curb and gutter with new. Remove the old Asphalt pavement and replace with new aggregate base and asphalt. Replace existing driveway approaches with concrete. New storm sewer at Trine and Hocking. Watermain improvements at Trine and Hocking.

Traffic Impact:     E. Hocking St. – Start June 7th through August 9th
The road will be closed to through traffic. Local access will be maintained with some restrictions. Access to residential drives will be maintained whenever possible; if an interruption to drive access is necessary, the contractor will notify the resident and coordinate the interruption. There will be no parking on E. Hocking during work hours.
Washington St. from W. Waterloo south to the bridge over Walnut Creek:
Pavement repairs where necessary. Milling and resurfacing the existing asphalt pavement. Sidewalk ramp improvements where needed.

Traffic Impact:    Washington St.
Curb and Sidewalks, week of July 6th
Pavement Repairs, week of July 12th
Paving, week of August 9th
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Expect delays.
Citys at Westchester Sec.3 (Fox Hill Dr., Hemmingford Dr.,Braeswick Ct., Eddelston Ct., Stretton Pl..)
Work will consist of crack fill and slurry seal.

Traffic Impact:     Westchester Sec.3
Crackfill, week of July 6th or July 12th
Slurry Seal, August 4th and 5th
Traffic maintained during the crack fill operations. There will be driving and parking restrictions during the slurry seal operations and the mill and resurfacing operations. The contractor will notify residents of their work area and the access restrictions in advance of the work
Winchester City Sec.2-1 (Sarwil Dr. N., Chesterville Ct., Windward Ct.)
Work will consist primarily of crack filling and slurry seal with pavement repairs as necessary. Windward and Chesterville Courts pavement will be milled and resurfaced.

Traffic Impact:    Crackfill, week of July 6th or July 12th
                      Slurry Seal, August 4th and 5th
Traffic maintained during the crack fill operations. There will be driving and parking restrictions during the slurry seal operations and the mill and resurfacing operations. The contractor will notify residents of their work area and the access restrictions in advance of the work
