Doll and Toy Museum - 700 Winchester Pike -

rare dolls and toys are on display in this
one-of-a-kind museum. See Lionel train
displays, the rare #1 Barbie, a complete Barbie land
exhibit, a GI Joe collection, miniature
circus display and more. Take a stroll
down memory lane as you see exhibits with
many of the toys you owned as a child.
Motts
Military Museum - 5075 South Hamilton Road,

In Groveport, just five miles from Canal
Winchester's border, is a fascinating new
attraction. The Motts Military Museum
is the dream of Warren Motts who started his
military collection more than 30 years
ago. Now, these rare pieces from all
areas of American military history are on

Slate
Run Historical Farm - 9130 Marcy Road,
Ashville - 614-833-1880 Operated by
the Columbus Metro Parks, this historical
farm is in full operation all year
long. Step back into farm and family
life of the 1880's and watch the chores
being carried out with the tools, equipment
and methods used before electricity or
gasoline engines. Draft horses,
cattle, hogs and poultry are plentiful among
the crops and fruits that were typical near
the turn of the century.
Slate
Run Vineyard and Winery - 1900
Winchester-Southern Road - 614-834-8577 - In
the southern part of Canal Winchester, on
State Route 674, is one of Ohio's top
wineries. With more than three acres
of vineyard, Slate Run produces eleven wines
from more than 45 varieties of grapes grown
in the Slate Run vineyards and elsewhere in
Ohio.
