State Assistance Programs:

Infrastructure Grants for utility and road improvements are available for projects creating new jobs and investment in Canal Winchester

 

Economic Development Financing including direct loans, loan guarantees and industrial revenue bonds is available to firms engaged in manufacturing, distribution and commerce through the Ohio Department of Development

 

Worker Training through the Ohio Industrial Training Program can reimburse employers for up to one half of training and education costs of new employees.

 

The Ohio Jobs Creation Tax Credit is available from the State on a negotiated basis to encourage business expansion and location in Ohio.  The credit is based on job creation and applied to the state corporate franchise tax.
